5 Tips to Start Your Homestead (Frugal, Off-Grid Friendly)

5 Tips to Start Your Homestead (Frugal, Off-Grid Friendly)

Before you start:

If you’re new to off-grid homesteading, the biggest mistake is doing things out of order and wasting money.

I put together a free off-grid starter guide (plus step-by-step emails) to help you build shelter, water, power, and food systems in the right sequence.

👉 Get the free guide here

  1. Find and buy land.  I searched the entire United States to find an affordable property I could afford.
  2. Save what you can.  Set aside as much money as you can, stop spending money you don't need to.
  3. Treat this as a survival situation.  Bring food water and shelter then build infrastructure to produce more food water and shelter.
  4. Diversify your income. Create multiple sources of income.  Build a website,  promote it with social media. Create value for others.
  5. Be content.  Enjoy what you have today rather than waiting to be happy.

Today is my birthday and I just wanted to get your gears going,  sometimes all you need is an outside perspective.  Have a great day!

Happy Bithday! I have been with you since you were carrying ravioli and vegetables to the wrong land. Nice job. I am about to do something similar in New Mexico, and you have been helpful.

Thank you for promoting positivity in your content. I would like to stop by and say hello some day. It won’t be as simple as that because I reside in Tucson! Enjoy your progression of success!
