The Frugal Off-Grid Community

The Frugal Off Grid Community

This community exists for people who want to plan off-grid and frugal homestead life deliberately, without hype, pressure, or rushed decisions.

It’s a quiet space for asking real questions, thinking things through, and learning from practical experience before mistakes get expensive.

If you’re brand new, I’ve put together a short webinar that walks through the basics step by step. It explains how to think about land, systems, and order of decisions before committing to anything.

Who this is for

This community is for:

People in the early or planning stages of off-grid or homestead life
Those who want to think clearly before buying land, building, or investing money
People who value simplicity, constraints, and long-term thinking
Anyone who prefers calm discussion over comment-section noise

Who this is not for

This is not social media.
It’s not a place for selling, self-promotion, or recruiting.
It’s not a space for drama, politics, or arguments.
And it’s not a shortcut to instant answers or validation.

This is a planning space, not a feed.

How it works

Members can ask questions, share context, and think through decisions at a realistic pace.

I check in regularly and participate thoughtfully, but this isn’t a 24/7 help desk or a coaching program. The goal is clarity and better decision-making over time.

Why it exists

Many off-grid questions are difficult to answer well in public comments. They require context, tradeoffs, and honest discussion.

This community exists to give those conversations a place to happen without noise, pressure, or turning everything into content.

Some of these ideas are easier to explain in conversation than in writing. This video gives additional context on how I think about planning, systems, and long-term decisions.

What members get

Access to a private, planning-focused community
Space to ask thoughtful questions and work through decisions
Calm discussion without hype, selling, or urgency
Occasional notes or clarifications when something deserves deeper explanation

This community is intentionally small and quiet.

If that sounds useful to you, you’re welcome to join. If not, everything I share publicly will continue to stand on its own.

Where this leads next

If you want a deeper, structured walk-through of how all of these ideas come together, the webinar is designed for that.

It builds on the same thinking discussed here, but lays everything out step by step in one place.
