Heating is one of the most important parts of an off grid setup, and one of the most dependent on location, climate, and how you choose to live.
There is no single best solution. What works well in one environment may not make sense in another. The key is understanding the tradeoffs, cost, fuel availability, maintenance, and reliability, and choosing what fits your situation.
Over time, patterns begin to show up. Some systems are simple and reliable. Others offer convenience but come with added complexity or cost. The right choice is usually a balance, not a perfect answer.
