I have lived off grid in the high desert of Arizona for three years now. I moved off grid with next to nothing and began to build systems to provide my basic needs of food, water and shelter. This year my homestead is capable of harvesting and storing 14,000 gallons of rainwater. I grow and harvest a large part of my meat and vegetables and I have created many other fun systems for beekeeping, aquaponics and baling hay.

currently working my way to having my own homestead, can’t wait man.
Even on days when I can barely walk, like today, you inspire me to get up and do ‘something’. We’ve been purchasing all that we need and have everything but solar now. Mostly, at 60ish we may need to consider new bodies lol.
Loved this one! I’ve been waiting to stock up on a few supplies before pulling the trigger on buying land. Now just need a cell phone booster, internet, and portable power. I don’t have a way to tow water storage so I’ll have to have that stuff delivered. Can’t wait to start this awesome journey. Thanks for sharing yours!
